🌟 Employee of the Month: Celebrating Our May 2026 Star 🌟
Every month at One2Call, we recognise the people whose hard work, attitude and commitment make a real difference behind the scenes.
May was a particularly busy month for the business, with the team continuing to support customers while also playing a huge part in the move to our new office. From installations and site visits to late nights, deliveries and getting the new space ready, there were plenty of examples of people going above and beyond, but one person’s name appeared time and time again.
We’re delighted to announce Luke Smith, Lead Infrastructure Engineer, as One2Call’s Employee of the Month for May 2026. 🎉
As a thank you for all of his hard work, Luke will receive a £50 gift voucher.
A lot of Luke’s nominations centred around the same thing: his willingness to get stuck in, no matter the job, the time, or the challenge.
Whether he was working late to complete customer projects, helping with the 3CX moves, making daily trips to the new office, delivering equipment, installing meeting room screens, or even treating the team to ice lollies, Luke consistently showed the attitude and togetherness that One2Call is built on.
Here’s what his colleagues had to say:
Jack Peake, Operations Manager
"Working late constantly, always willing to lend a hand with the office move."
"Staying late to get the 3CX moves to the new office done, One2Call showing our togetherness and all chipping in when we can to get things over the line."
"Working late to ensure jobs are completed has become second nature to Luke, so much so that it can sometimes go unnoticed. After a particularly demanding day on site, he still returned to the office at around 8:30pm to install the meeting room TVs and soundbar, which look incredible. An absolute asset to One2Call."
Dave Cowen, Technical Director
"Big shoutout to Luke. An absolute joy to work with, bringing great energy to the team, smashing installs, and handling site visits left, right and centre.

He's even been 'holding down a second job' as a removal and delivery driver with daily trips to the new office.
Safe to say, if there's a job to be done, Luke's already halfway through it. Brilliant effort all round. Keep it up!"
"Even after a challenging day on site, Luke still returned to the office to drop off the new pool tables and install the meeting room TVs and soundbar, and the results look incredible. Great work Luke."
Francesca Day, Finance Manager
"Treating us all to ice lollies, really appreciated. Thank you."
Luke's dedication, positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed have made a huge impact throughout May. From customer projects to office improvements, he's consistently put the team first and led by example.
Congratulations, Luke 👏👏
