Football is a big part of life in Sheffield, and it’s no different at One2Call. With Blades and Owls among our team, there’s always someone ready to talk about the weekend’s results. That’s why we’re proud to be supporting both Sheffield clubs for the 2026/27 season, as a Regional Partner of Sheffield United and a Regional Plus Partner of Sheffield Wednesday.
Two clubs, one home city
One2Call was born in Sheffield nearly 20 years ago, as were our founders Danny and Nick (not the 20 years bit, they're a tad older than that) and Sheffield remains home to our business, our colleagues and many of the organisations we support every day.
Supporting our historic and world famous football clubs isn't just about being part of the teams we support, it's about backing our home city and it's people, and helping us to strengthen the local bonds on which we've built our business.
From the matchday atmosphere at Bramall Lane to generations of support at Hillsborough, both clubs have an important place in Sheffield’s identity. We’re pleased to be part of their seasons and to share that experience with supporters on both sides of the footballing divide.
A partnership that means something
Our connection to Sheffield football runs through the business.
For our Managing Director, Nick Bass, a lifelong Wednesday supporter, the partnership has a personal significance. Our Sales Director, Owen Hanley, has also spoken about how naturally backing United fits with being a Sheffield business and supporting organisations across the city.
With plenty of Owls and Blades in the One2Call team, there’s no shortage of football chat in the office. We’ll be bringing that rivalry to life with Steel City football content throughout the season.
We’ve already kicked things off, so check out our predictions and 'Winner Stays On' videos below.

Growing our business and keeping our roots
These partnerships come during an exciting period for One2Call, following our move to our new headquarters at Jessops Riverside on Brightside Lane and the recruitment spree that's enabled us to undertake.
As we grow we'll continue supporting businesses across Sheffield and beyond; our connection to our home city remains important to us. Supporting the Blades and the Owls is another way we’re putting that local pride into practice.
We’re looking forward to sharing more from both partnerships throughout the season. Keep an eye on our social channels for updates - including ticket giveaways - and expect a little friendly rivalry along the way.
