You may have noticed a few things are different at One2Call recently.

There's this website of course, which is a big improvement on our previous website, not least of which is making posting blogs like this one a lot easier!

Then there's the new brand that it carries.  Next year will be One2Call's 18th birthday and for the bulk of those 18 years we've carried the same logo.  That one was designed by the uncle of one of our co-owners (shout out to Dave Howarth) and has served us really well, but we really are a different business from the one that that logo represented.  Over the last half decade or so our business has really expanded, both in terms of business size and the scope of our services.  When One2Call started it was a 100% telecoms business, but now we are wholeheartedly a Managed Services Provider, or MSP, able to support our clients across a large chunk of their critical supporting technology.

So, we thought it was time for a change, and I have to say I think our branding partner, ThreeRooms, have done an excellent job in helping us arrive at a modern visual identity that work for us.  We wanted something that was like us - simple, clear, understated. Something that just worked - no faff.

What the faff?

No Faff dictionary definition v2 WEBP

So, we've sort of adopted that phrase. I think it says a lot about who we are. We don't really shout a lot about what we do (to our detriment sometimes), preferring to just get on with the job and get things done, and we try make things as simple as we can for the customer.

And we're going to try and do the same for the way we communicate!

Every Friday morning at 10am, across all our social channels, we'll be publishing No Faff content. We've got some No Faff Guides in development - guides that get to the heart of the issue as quickly as possible, rather than filling pages with flannel to get the page count up - we'll help you get to know us as people in a No Faff way, and we'll also have a bit of No Faff fun as well!

In a world full of noise, we believe there’s real value in keeping things sharp and to the point. No Faff Friday is about clarity, efficiency, and a little bit of personality. You’ll get content that’s quick to read, easy to digest, and genuinely useful — no long intros, no endless scrolling, just the essentials delivered with a smile.

So don't forget to follow us on the social channels you prefer, and keep an eye out every Friday morning.
